Peter Berling

Biography
Master of Science in Mecahnical Engineering,Lund University, Lund, 1997. Tekn lic in Industrial Management and Logistics, 2002.

Peter Berling joined the PhD program at the department of Production Economics the fall 1997 after having achieved his master degree in Mecahnical Engineering. Parts of his masters program where completed at McGill University, Montreal Canada. He is currently supervised by Sven Axsäter. He is involved in a number of projects at Lund University as well as in collaboration projects with the University of Colorado, USA and Universidad de Navarra, Spain.

Teaching
Peter Berling has been teaching in a wide range of courses given by the department including courses in Managerial Economics, Finance, Quality Control and Logistics. Peter Berling has also supervised a number of Master-thesis.

Research
Peter Berling's current research is focused around trying to estimate cost parameters within inventory theory mainly by using financial risk theory.
