Fredrik Olsson

Biography
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with Mathematics as a major subject, Lund Institute of Technology, Lund, 2001. PhD in Industrial Management and Logistics, 2007. His supervisor was Professor Sven Axsäter.

Teaching
The present teaching is devoted to Operations Research, Production & Inventory Control, and Simulation of Production Systems. Fredrik has also been a teaching assistent in courses as Circuit Theory, Programming, and a mentor in Mathematical Analysis. Received, 2011, the award "Excellent Teaching Practitioner (ETP)".

Research
The research focus is inventory control. Some fields of interest are lateral transshipments and inventory control for perishable items. He has reviewed papers for journals such as Operations Research, Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers & Operations Research, OR Spectrum, and Omega.
